We do that by giving builders visual tools to streamline screen layout, navigation, and workflows alongside direct access to their app code so they can bring in the custom functions and components that make their apps unique. We give you building blocks, not templates.

We have spent the past few years creating a solid product foundation and getting early feedback from our beta users. We have support from investors who have backed companies like Figma, Twitter, and Twitch. While we still have much to prove, we're poised to grow and are looking for teammates to join us in taking that next leap together.

About the Position

The first experiences our customers have with Draftbit have a profound impact on their success moving forward. As a result, we partner with each of them on day one, personally guiding them through our platform, learning about their needs, and helping them determine how to drive to their desired outcomes.This role is critical in ensuring our users can realize their ambitions to develop mobile apps that can impact every aspect of the world around us.

In this role, you will be asked to:

  • Become an expert user of the Draftbit platform and develop a well-rounded understanding of mobile app development
  • Perform 1:1 onboarding video calls with our customers
  • Help users develop a plan for their mobile app development in Draftbit
  • Identify opportunities for customers to work with Draftbit Experts to reach their app development goals
  • Proactively reach out to customers in their first days & weeks in Draftbit to answer questions and help unblock them
  • Think creatively about how we can improve our first touchpoints with Draftbit customers and iteratively improve on the onboarding experience
  • Suggest product improvements and report issues to our product team

This is a full-time, remote contract position. We anticipate this position to pay between $45-75k per year depending on skills and experience.

Most of our team is based in the US, but you need not be. We simply ask that you be available to work at least 4 overlapping hours with a 9am-5pm CT US workday.

About You

  • Experience in a high-velocity customer-facing role (e.g. onboarding, implementation, or customer success)
  • Familiarity with mobile app development (ideally React Native) - you likely have some software engineering experience
  • Ability to clearly explain complex, technical topics in person and in writing (English fluency is key)
  • Comfortable communicating with people across the spectrum of professional and technical experiences, from founders who have never written a line of code to experienced developers and corporate leaders
  • Deep empathy for people and the challenges one can face in building new products
  • Self-reliant, able to set your own goals and operate with limited oversight
  • Relentless optimistic and positive -you are the person your co-workers can always rely on to bring the glass-half-full perspective

Additional Details

  • Compensation is competitive for companies of our size and stage. As an early team member, we offer aggressive equity compensation.

  • We're headquartered in Chicago but have a distributed team. U.S.-friendly hours are strongly preferred - we limit meetings, but we often work semi-synchronously, so it's essential to have some workday overlap.

  • We pay for 100% of your medical, dental & vision insurance premiums and 50% for partners & dependents.
